History of Deerpath Design

Owned and operated by Ross Fichter, Deerpath Design began in 2001 as The Deerpath Company, providing web design and marketing services to western Michigan.

Ross began his work as a professional web developer in July, 2000, working for Walkabout Computers in New Era, Michigan. During his 17-month tenure there, Ross served as Webmaster, Director of Web Development, and Director of Sales and Marketing.

After leaving Walkabout in November , 2001, he launched The Deerpath Company as an Independent Web Design and Marketing Consultant, designing sites for several clients in Lakeshore area during the first year. In August, 2002, Ross moved to New Hampshire to work at a Medicaid billing company as a manager and Webmaster, while maintaining Deerpath Design on the side.

In April, 2007, after moving back to Michigan, Deerpath Design entered into a service partnership with Landmark Computers of Whitehall to provide web design and Webmaster services to the store and its clients.

Deerpath Design is now based in Hart, Michigan with office space in Whitehall.  With more than 7 years experience and dozens of loyal clients, Deerpath Design is establishing itself as one of the leading Web Design and Marketing companies in the Lakeshore area.
